Women's Retreat 2004

A brochure telling about the Camp-When-Where

Women's Retreat was the third weekend of February.  The theme for the weekend was "A Defining Moment".  We were very blessed during this weekend to hear from approximately eight women from our congregation, and learn from them how God had worked in their lives.  It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our sisters and God as our sisters testified about Him.

The Camp Grounds

Spending Time with God.

Throughout the weekend, women are always gathered together and fellowshipping.

Often times, women are in the meeting room upstairs working on a puzzle or craft projects they brought from home.

It can be a challenge sometimes getting our worship started as many other conversations are taking place.

Mary Thrasher is sharing pictures with the group that symbolized different aspects of her experience in making her life simpler.

Renewing Friendships

Walking around the grounds.

Carol Nelson is on the swing.  Each year she heads to the Big Swing, and several ladies are always nearby to give a helping hand.

Any time we plan a fun activity, craziness always comes in and we end up having even more fun.
