Last West Side Location
N.W. Fifteenth and Hoyt Streets
1905-1927
The Church construction started during the
pastorate of the Rev. J.A. Huggert. The building was dedicated on
September 17, 1905 in connection with the annual meeting of the Oregon Swedish
Baptist Conference. The church building was used until the new building on
NE 7th and Clackamas was ready for worship services.
(Location now occupied by a warehouse as of this writing in 1952. Today
2003, the 405 freeway has taken the property.)
Pastors: Eric Scherstrom, Fredrik Linden, Axel Tjernlund, Gideon Sjolander, Emanuel Bjorkquist and John Alfred Erickson.
"Blessed are they that dwell in Thy house. For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness." Psalms 84:10
